What we sell, and who issues it

Klarseal sells code signing certificates issued by Certum (Asseco Data Systems S.A.), a certificate authority operating in the European Union since 1998. Certum performs validation and issuance, and is named as the issuer in every certificate.

Business customers only

Klarseal sells only to businesses. A company name is required at checkout, and a VAT or registration number wherever checkout asks for one. We do not operate a consumer sales channel.

VAT

Norwegian customers pay in NOK and are charged 25% MVA. Customers in every other country pay in EUR with no Norwegian VAT: the sale is zero-rated under merverdiavgiftsloven § 6-22 and the customer accounts for any tax in their own country. EU business customers need a VAT number validated through VIES, and their invoice carries the reverse-charge notice.

Dispute resolution

Norwegian law applies, and disputes go to Oslo tingrett (Oslo District Court). See the terms of sale.
